Mike Clem wrote this one. He plays guitar and sings backing vocal. Julie Murphy Wells sings lead. The song was recorded on September 24, 1999 at WKSU, before Eddie From Ohio's appearance at the Kent State Folk Festival.
Eddie from Ohio isn't. Well, Eddie is, but the rest of them aren't. Eddie Hartness is the percussionist. Mike Clem, Julie Murphy Wells and Robbie Schaefer are from Virginia. In 1991, the group started playing covers in neighborhood bars, but have since done concert series throughout the nation. They've been described as ranging from "Crosby Stills & Nash meet the Indigo Girls" to "The Grateful Dead meets Peter Paul & Mary." The lyrically driven music is grounded in a foundation of hand percussion, while the guitar, bass and harmonica support their stunning four-part harmonies. They have produced six CDs and have risen to the top without the support of a major record label.
