Cleveland Same Sex School Experiment Starts

Cleveland's 54,000 public school students went back to class today. The academic year begins with heightened optimism after the district's move up on the state report card from "academic watch" to "continuous improvement." The district has implemented some changes to keep the momentum going. One is school uniforms. And, for the first time, some students are attending experimental same-sex schools. The two all-girl and two all-boy kindergarten through second grade schools opened this morning.
