WKSU to Host Open House Oct. 2

WKSU is hosting an open house on Oct. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.  The evening will include an opportunity to meet newsroom staff, tours of the station and a scavenger hunt.
Plan to attend and meet the people who help make your favorite public radio station operate, including local on-air hosts Amanda Rabinowitz and Jeff St. Clair.  Reporters Mark Arehart, Kabir Bhatia and Jennifer Conn will also be in attendance, along with announcer Mark Pennell and broadcast and digital editor Sarah Taylor.
Tours of the station will be available to show guests the ins and outs of radio broadcasting.  There will also be a scavenger hunt to complete for fun prizes, a WKSU merchandise shop, appetizers and more.
This open house is a way of saying ‘thank you’ to all WKSU listeners and members by giving an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the station operates.
Register for the event online or by calling 330-672-3114 by Sept. 24.
Parking will be available at the Child Development Center, Heer Hall and Eastway Center.  View all parking options at Kent State University through the Parking Services department
The station is located at 1613 E Summit St. Kent, OH 44242.
