In an unexpected move, the board of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce has decided to bring back its former CEO. And it won’t renew the contract of current Chamber President James Dignan, an Air Force veteran who took the helm in January, 2018.

The announcement that the 150-year-old Youngstown Vindicator will cease publication at the end of August came as a shock to at least one top Mahoning Valley business leader. But he says there are still possibilities for saving print journalism in the city.

Looking For Business In Post-Embargo Cuba

A delegation from northeast Ohio is back from a visit to Cuba.  And the members say it was a worthwhile trip. 

They didn’t bring back any deals, but the small group, which included business and government leaders from the Mahoning Valley and international business consultants from Columbus, believes it met the right people and got what it needed for the future.
