Thursday is the NFL draft. And for Browns fans, it’s the equivalent of the Super Bowl. The team that went 0-16 last season has the first and fourth picks. WKSU sports commentator Terry Pluto says there's been a lot of speculation and rumors about who the Browns will select, but it’s fairly safe to say it will be a quarterback.

The Cavs play a crucial game tonight in their first-round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers.  They’re in an unfamiliar spot this early in the playoffs, down 0-1 after being blown out on Sunday. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says it's a must-win game.

The Indians did something unusual this year – they sold out this Friday’s home opener even before single game tickets went on sale. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says opening day in baseball always seems to arrive with much more fanfare than any other pro sport.

Pluto says there would have to be an extraordinary event for a Cavs or Browns home opening game to draw such an interest.

"Maybe the day that LeBron James came back, or perhaps when the Browns came back in '99."

The Browns stunned the NFL this past weekend, making a flurry of trades within 36 hours. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says the Browns were bold in the moves they made before the free-agency period opened.

"These were a bunch of preemptive strikes," he said.
