President Donald Trump has signed an executive order disbanding the commission he created to investigate what he claimed were millions of fraudulent votes in the 2016 election. Ohio’s chief elections officer wasn’t a fan of the Election Integrity Commission to begin with.

President Trump is turning his attention this week to the $1 trillion U.S. infrastructure overhaul he promised during his campaign. But Ohio’s Democratic U.S. senator says the details are looking a lot different than candidate Trump promised.  

The White House won’t release its plan until next month, but some preliminary reports say the trillion-dollar program would actually mean $200 billion from the federal government with  the rest coming from private investment, state and local funds – and requiring cuts in spending on other domestic programs.

Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders made two stops in Ohio over the weekend as part of his "Protecting Working Families Tour" to condemn the GOP tax plan that passed the Senate early Saturday morning.

Former Ohio Sen. Nina Turner addressed a crowd in downtown Akron Saturday night before Bernie Sanders took the stage. That followed another joint appearance in Dayton and a livestream address by Sanders to a crowd in Louisville, Ky.
