WKSU Hunger Challenge

Last year, 49 million Americans lived in food insecure households, 33.1 million adults and 15.9 million children.

Our local food banks are the in the front lines of helping alleviate hunger in Ohio.

Right Now WKSU listeners have the opportunity to donate to WKSU and have their contribution matched dollar for dollar with an equal amount going to support the Akron/Canton Regional Foodbank, the Cleveland Foodbank, or Second-Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio.

It’s called the WKSU Hunger Challenge.

Contribute now to WKSU and your donation will be matched dollar for dollar by the Challenge participants, which include Charter One Bank and many others.
