Eren's work has been featured by the BBC, PBS and The Washington Post.

Metin Eren, Ph.D. is the Director of Archaeology in the Department of Anthropology at Kent State University and a research associate at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

He is a leader in the field of "experimental archaeology" which involves recreating artifacts and testing theories on those neo-artifacts.
