White Coral Bells - Judy Collins

Judy Collins is one of the few artists to be a legend in both folk and pop music. She is also an accomplished classical pianist, a writer, an actor, and a speaker. This fall, her presence was requested at numerous ceremonies for the victims of 9/11. Her version of "Amazing Grace" is both an anthem and a great source of healing.

While visiting our studios we asked Judy if she had any seasonal music that was unreleased. She immediately recalled an experimental recording of a "round" in which she sang all the parts. Lucky for all us she found it, and if "Ornaments and Icing" didn't exist its doubtful that anyone would have ever heard it.

Performing Christmas music is a relatively new experience for Judy; her first ever Christmas CD came out just 2 years ago: "Christmas at The Biltmore Estate." She now has a second release, and is hosting her own NPR Christmas program called: "Do you hear what I hear, A Holiday Folk Tour."
