Little Drummer Boy - Christopher Williams

Another talented Boston songwriter, Christopher Williams challenged us by suggesting that he accompany himself only with drums. It helped that he chose "Little Drummer Boy," but we wondered if he (or anyone) could pull it off. Then we listened. Once again, a familiar song gets new life, as Christopher put his own stamp on the melody forever connecting it with him.

Consistent with the other artists on this program he refused to contribute the ordinary. That trademark is one that he stays true to in all of his songs - yearlong.

Always a spiritual fellow, at one point Williams considered the ministry and his last job was working with elementary school children. He travels the world with his guitars (and drums) and if he comes to your town insist that he play both.
