Alex Bevan has been a fixture on the Northeast Ohio folk and general music scene for more years than he'd like us to say. We first got to know him as the, "...skinny little boy, from Cleveland, Ohio, come to chase your women and drink your beer." So went the lyrics of "Skinny" which was heard all over the radio along the North Coast in the '70s.

Alex is a captivating performer and an excellent guitarist. When we invited him to bring an "Ornament" to our show, he expected to cover a song he liked by a local writer. Then,...

"'We Could Be Elves'...is actually a brand new song. I was all set to record 'Mrs. Claus' when the idea hit me. I played it for a few kids and then rewrote it a bit and...well...you know the rest."

The rest is a great new holiday story/song. It shows off Alex's ability to literally "play" a song as well.
