Tim was the lead singer with the group Hot Rize. He has written a number one song for Kathy Mattea, "Walk The Way The Wind Blows." He is currently achieving recognition simultaneously by the old timey, bluegrass, and songwriting communities, which is hard to do. He has new recordings in all those categories. Tim is one of the few triple threats: a very strong singer, musician and writer, considered an expert as any of those. This summer he toured with Bela Fleck in support of "The Bluegrass Sessions," their collaboration with Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Tony Rice, and others.
