Grace brought Paul Nahay with her to our studio. He played piano and Grace sang both vocal parts on this lovely arrangement.
Grace Griffith sings with eloquence and passion. She touches your heart with a voice true to her name: graceful. In her native Washington D.C. area, the press has acknowledged her formidable gift. "A glorious voice," The Washington Post announced. "Bewitching vocals," said Dirty Linen Magazine. She also has been named "Best Female Vocalist" in both Celtic and Traditional Folk categories four years straight by the Washington Area Music Association.
Paul Nahay (pnahay@sprynet.com) earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in composition from Stanford University, where he later joined the music theory faculty. He has composed musical theater works, played keyboard on touring Broadway shows (The Secret Garden, Les Miserables, Grease, Will Rogers Follies), conducted regional theater musicals, and written the revolutionary Swan software (www.swansos.com) used by professional musical theater keyboardists around the country. He performs regularly with Grace Griffith.
