When Jonathan stopped by Soundesign Studio in Vermont to record this, he had some friends with him. David Bromberg plays guitar and Lisa McCormick sings backing vocals.
Jonathan has been taking his guitar and harmonica (and piano, and other instruments) on tour for over thirty years. After a childhood on piano, he started forming bands in high school with his new $29 guitar, playing guitar folk music. He went electric "about the same time Dylan did," and has always had a country sound to his albums, which have been plentiful. He has worked with just about everybody over the years, and even has a passionate following in the Netherlands! And yes, in concert he is frequently heard starting the song he keeps getting requests for: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..."
