Don Dixon - Catchin' Cold WKSU Home
Recorded at his home for this show, Don also tells us the story of the holidays on the road which inspired this song back in 1975.

Don is a songwriter who became a producer, and that is what he's known for now. He's produced R.E.M., Marshall Crenshaw, and his wife Marti Jones, to name a very few of his credits. He wrote singles for Joe Cocker "I Can Hear The River," and Counting Crows "Time and Time Again" (co-author), and he played bass on Mary-Chapin Carpenter's number one single, "Shut Up And Kiss Me."
