Marie, Jeannie and Annie Burns are numbers 7, 8, and 9 of a family of 12 children! It's amazing there was any food left for them! Mom was an opera singer, and according to Jeannie, "Our older brothers had a band in high school. We all grew up singing." They write a lot of their own material, sometimes with the other two sisters of the brood, who briefly were a part of the group. But these three have been the Burns Sisters for many years now. They are based in Ithaca, NY, and tour extensively. Their harmonies are heavenly.
