The Cleveland Cavaliers are introducing the newest piece of their star-studded team: Kevin Love.

The trade became official over the weekend after more than a month of speculation. The Cavs sent rookie Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for All-Star forward Love.

He’ll join LeBron James, who announced last month he was returning to Cleveland. WKSU commentator Terry Pluto says the team that’s been assembled over the summer is an instant contender.

"When the Cavs roll out there on opening night, and you got LeBron, you got Kevin Love, you got Kyrie Irving -- three guys who have made an All-Star team -- and you have other guys like Mike Miller, Shawn Marion coming off your bench who played on NBA championship teams, it's exciting. This team starts at 50 wins and moves up."

Pluto says Kevin Love completes the Cavs' big signings because they have used most of their salary cap room.
