In The Region:
A wind chill warning is in effect until 9 tomorrow morning, and today's high is only expected to get up to about zero -- with the winds of about 23 mph making it feel a lot more like 35 below. But things are warming up, albeit slowly. Here's the rest of the forecast:
  • Tonight: Patchy blowing snow before 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 0. Wind chill values as low as -19. Southwest wind 10 to 18 mph.
  • Wednesday: A slight chance of snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 20. Wind chill values as low as -11. South wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
  • Wednesday night: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 15. West wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30percent.
  • Thursday: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 30. Light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
  • Thursday Night: A chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39.
  • Friday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
  • Saturday: Rain showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 45. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
  • Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
