If you’re visiting the Football Hall of Fame, why not stop at the Canton Classic Car Museum or the Museum of Art? That’s what the staffs at the museums are asking, along with officials at the First Ladies' National Library and the McKinley Presidential Library.

Their goal is to have a trolley take visitors along a 4.5-mile loop with stops at all five museums, plus discounted rates.

The Canton Repository reports that the museums have formed a partnership and are working together on creating the Canton Loop, along with a slogan telling visitors to "Do the Loop." Within a decade, they hope to attract 150,000 more tourists every year.

One factor driving the campaign is the impact of the 2009 Kimono exhibit at the Canton Institute of Art. It drew 100,000 visitors to Canton and pumped about $6 million into the economy.
