Ohio’s unemployment rate in December was 6.7 percent. That’s down slightly from 6.8 percent in November. The total number of unemployed Ohioans has decreased by 70,000 during the past 12 months.
Ohio’s unemployment rate remains much better than the national average. The nation’s unemployment rate for December was 7.8 percent, and that was down from 8.5 percent the year before. |
