In The Region: Gov. John Kasich says he’s been invited to speak at The Davos World Economic Forum, an influential conference in Switzerland that routinely attracts some of the most powerful people in the world. |
Last year’s World Economic Forum brought in French President Nicholas Sarkosky, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister David Cameron. Entertainment figures such as Angelina Jolie and George Clooney also attend. Kasich says he hasn’t decided whether to attend, but he will go “if it can help the state”. |
