| A Cuyahoga Falls man is facing federal charges for possessing illegal weapons including five pipe bombs and a 9 mm submachine gun.
Justice Department spokesman Mike Tobin says David Dougherty (DOUGH-er-tee), was indicted Tuesday. |
“He was arrested in October when federal agents searched his residence, and he’s been locked up since then,” Tobin says. “There will be an arraignment and an attention hearing in the coming days, but that hasn’t been scheduled yet as of right now”
Dougherty is also charged with possession of a gun silencer and manufacturing marijuana for distribution. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison if convicted. |
