Ohio Tuesday, November 6, 2012 Ohio voting so far is steady and smooth Some 1.8 million early voters seem to have relieved a lot of the pressure by WKSU's M.L. SCHULTZE |
 Web Editor M.L. Schultze | | |
In The Region: The early voting rush of the weekend has been a pretty big contrast so far to what’s going on at polling places on Election Day.
Most county boards of elections say voting has been steady and smooth. There were some complaints among voters that they hadn’t been notified that their polling places had moved to new locations.
But by far, the biggest complaints voters like Paul Ritchey of Canton had were about the tone and tenor of the campaigns heading into Election Day.

“I wish the candidates would talk more about the issues and not throw so much mud at each other. Just stay on the issues themselves and what their plans were. And I think all politicians should do that, just : Here’s what I’m running for, this is what I want to do and, and here’s my plan to get there leave the other candidates out of it.”
Polling places remain open in Ohio until 7:30 tonight. |
