Listener Comments:

"Auto industry bailout saved thousands of Ohio jobs" - --- A private entity bailout would have done the same - and definitely done the bankruptcy/restructuring with some compassion/common-sense. ---
This bailout was a government takeover - private individuals fronted the money for the government to "save" GM, rather than allowing GM to restructure under private guidance, the government took over - this administration fired the CEO of GM to appoint their dolt/person; they closed many plants, just as a private entity would have, although, as with the government, the process was incredibly mis-managed - the template to determine which plants stayed open or closed must have been designed by the same people that gave the unions sweetheart deals compared to what the bondholders received.
During the first Presidential debate Obama accused Romney of lying - a convenient ploy when you have the media, and many rich people in high places to protect you. If we continue to believe the incomplete information/lies by this administration we will be serfs - useful pawns, as they continue to destroy private enterprise/capitalism.
