Ohio Tuesday, October 16, 2012 A week of debates and all things political in Ohio WKSU asked Ohio's Senate candidates to talk about their own performance on Monday, and to handicap tonight's presidential matchup. by WKSU's M.L. SCHULTZE |
 Web Editor M.L. Schultze | | |
Ohio has two debates this week between the major party candidates for the U.S. Senate, and voters here are also watching the second presidential debate tonight and are in the middle of a another wave of visits by the presidential and vice presidential candidates and their surrogates.
(Even Wednesday’s Browns press conference introducing the team’s new CEO has a political edge; GOP VP candidate Paul Ryan will be there along with former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice – a huge Browns fan.)
WKSU asked Senate candidates Sherrod Brown and Josh Mandel for interviews today to review their own debate performance on Monday, and to preview tonight's presidential debate and their own rematch on Thursday. Brown said yes; Mandel didn’t respond.
Here’s the Q&A with Brown. We’re also posting the complete audio from Monday’s City Club of Cleveland debate.
And WKSU’s HD 4 channel will air – and WKSU.org will carry – the next Brown/Mandel debate Thursday night beginning at 8 p.m. |
