In The Region: The Ohio State Highway Patrol is getting a reputation for making drug busts, after pulling over motorists for traffic violations. As statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports, the latest incident has a sweet twist to it. |

Late Sunday night troopers pulled over a car for speeding on interstate 75 in Auglaize County. As they talked with the driver the troopers noticed the smell of fresh marijuana. That sparked a search of the vehicle, and that turned up 29 grams of crack cocaine, and prescription pills and pot. Plus there were cookies and lollipops laced with marijuana. The driver and his two passengers are now charged with a 1st degree felony, trafficking in cocaine, plus a 4th degree felony, trafficking in marijuana. |
