The number of storefronts that Ohio law enforcers suspect are conducting illegal gambling is twice as big as many had thought. In March, the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine estimated the state had about 280 businesses that called themselves “Sweepstakes” or “internet cafes.” But now that a new state law has required the businesses to register, it’s clear there are at least 667.
