Ohio reaction to health-care decision splits along part lines
Early reaction among Ohio’ senators and congressional delegation to today’s Supreme Court decision upholding the healthcare overhaul split largely along party lines.

But GOP Sen. Rob Portman said in a statement that the law may be constitutional, but is still flawed and will cost families, small businesses, and the government. Republican Ohio House members also continue to paint the law as a bad one while Democrats – for the most part – continue to support it. Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Cleveland goes further, though, saying the nation should adopt universal healthcare instead.

Meanwhile, Ohio’s Republican Attorney General Mike DeWine – who appealed the health-care law the day he took office in 2011 -- says the ruling  will make the law the predominant issue of the fall presidential campaign.

State investigates Columubus schools
Two state agencies say they will investigate allegations that Columbus City School administrators manipulated attendance records to improve the district's showing. The Columbus Dispatch reports the state gave the district two weeks to turn over records and communications related to the attendance issue.

Time limit on Akron roadside memorials
Akron has begun enforcing a new rule that prohibits roadside memorials from remaining in place for more than 45 days. The Akron Beacon Journal reports the city adopted the policy at the urging of neighborhood block watch leaders upset about memorials being left up for months or years.

Tonight is the NBA draft and the Plain Dealer is reporting that the Cavaliers are interested in Syracuse shooting guard Dion Waiters. The Cavs have the No. 4 pick.
