Politics Tuesday, April 17, 2012 Redfern calls for Romney to release his tax returns Ohio's Democratic Party Chair says Americans deserve to see the presidential candidate's history by WKSU's STATEHOUSE CORRESPONDENT JO INGLES |
 Reporter Jo Ingles | | |
| Ohio Democratic Party Chair Chris Redfern is calling on Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney to release his tax returns. |
“When Romney was vying to become Presidential candidate John McCain’s vice presidential nominee, he provided the campaign with 23 years of tax returns. Now that he’s running for president, Mitt Romney has changed his tune and is willing to give one year’s tax release to the public. Each week, his refusal to give the public a full picture raises questions about whether he took unusual steps to avoid paying his fair share in the past.”
Repeated attempts to get a comment about this from someone with Romney’s campaign were unsuccessful. |
