Cedar Point won’t change its Halloween attractions despite concerns by the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
The group asked Cedar Point last week to get rid of an asylum-themed haunted house and outdoor show, saying they reinforce stereotypes about mental illness.
Robin Innes is the amusement park’s spokesman. He says although Cedar Point will keep its attractions the way they are, the park does not mean to offend anyone. |
The Sandusky Register reports that an alliance official says the group is disappointed but won't take further action.
