Senator enforces wage laws
Morano believes commerce should focus on others as well

| A special legislative committee has approved about a million and a half dollars for the state commerce department to enforce minimum wage, prevailing wage, and child labor laws. Democratic Senator Sue Morano of Lorain says she's happy about that, but wants to see more done for workers who have been promised more than minimum wage. She has introduced a bill to allow commerce to investigate all unpaid and underpaid workers. |
Morano says her office has received numerous phone calls from people who are worried that they aren’t receiving proper pay. |
