Health officials say, unlike seasonal flu, the swine flu is hitting younger people harder because they lack the immunities for it that older Ohioans have likely already developed over their lifetimes. Each year in Ohio, seasonal flu and pneumonia contribute to the deaths of more than 3,000 Ohioans. Health officials say most of the flu they are seeing right now is H1N1 virus, not seasonal flu.
