The Joffrey Ballet returns to Blossom Music Center for the first time in three decades
The last time the Cleveland Orchestra accompanied ballet from the Blossom pit was in 1984

The Cleveland Orchestra performs this weekend with the Joffrey Ballet. The Chicago-based troupe arrives at Blossom Music Center with an eclectic program including a symphonic adagio and a show tune. The return of the ballet to Blossom after two decades reflects the orchestra's increasing interest in artistic collaboration. But the technical crew really had to stay on their toes:
