Economy and Business Tuesday, June 09, 2009 Northeast Ohio Chrysler dealer wraps up business Lahm says his future is in used cars Story by Holly Schoenstein |
| | |
| Dick Lahm is among the dealers in Ohio who are winding down their days this week selling new Chrysler vehicles. Lahm operated Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Sugarcreek and looks back at his business's role as one of the new car dealerships in the community.
Lahm says there's been a strong reaction from both his customers AND his competitors.
Lahm says he sold the last 20 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge cars and trucks on his lot by offering good deals to customers and to other dealers. He'll strictly sell used cars, now, and his dealership will still offer service work. He expects his business to grow because most people are looking for used cars in this tough economy.
