Power train plant will close at end of 2010

GM's Parma powertrain plant, which makes transmissions, will be closing at the end of 2010. About 37 people will lose their jobs

Workers in Parma are celebrating a reprieve today after General Motors announced it will keep the Parma Stamping plant open and retain about 14-hundred workers.
