Avon Lake mourns soldier killed in Iraq Friday, October 3, 2008
A Northeast Ohio soldier was buried today in Avon Lake. Friends and teachers remember Captain Michael J. Medders as a young man equally at home on the playing field, the classroom and the choir. WKSU's Karen Schaefer reports:
