They voted to bailout the banks, insurance, and wall street because of bad decisions, greed and fraud on the part of CEO's with taxpayers money. But what about us taxpayers who worked hard, paid our full TAXES, paid our bills on time, did not over extend ourselves with credit card debt, or take out an overpriced mortgage knowing that they could not pay for it, and did "without" over the many years, and now have LOST many $$$ to someone else's greed and decisions. My question is: I have lost $18,000 since May, 2007 (and $6,000 since the crisis started. WHO IS GOING TO BAIL ME OUT and cover my losses due to someone elses greed? I WILL NEVER SUPPORT EITHER OF THEM, WHEN THERE TERMS ARE UP. BOTH SENATORS, JUST NOT ONLY BAILED OUT WALL STREET BUT ALSO VOTED THE BIGGEST PORK BILL. WE AS A NATION NEED TO VOTE THESE POLITICIANS OUT.MOST AMERICANS DID NOT WANT THE BAIL OUT BUT THEY STILL VOTED THE BILL IN. IF THAT WASN'T BAD ENOUGH THEN THEY ADD ALL THE EXTRA PORK TO IT. MY GRAND KIDS AND GREAT GRAND KIDS NOW CAN PAY FOR THIER GREED. IT WAS BOTH PARTIES TOO!!! DEM. STARTED IT BUT THE REP. COULD HAVE FIXED IT, BUT ELECTED NOT TO!WE NEED TO START FIRING THESE GUYS Posted by: RANDY BESANCON (WOOSTER) on October 6, 2008 10:08AM
I am another voter who will never vote for either one of them. Primarily, because they voted without demanding that the Senate take the time to seek and listen to any other economic experts for advise or options. Their failure to do so sent the message that no one else, especially the voters, have enough intelligence to deserve a voice. Posted by: J. D. Miller (Jamestown, Ohio) on October 5, 2008 8:02PM
They will never get another vote of mine. Posted by: James Wise (Mansfield, Ohio) on October 5, 2008 4:35PM
