Akron Schools require uniforms for students k-8

It's back to school time across Ohio. The daily decision of what to wear has gotten easier for students in the Akron Public School District. This year Akron joined Cleveland schools in requiring all kindergarten through eighth graders to wear school uniforms. Administrators insist uniforms improve learning, but not all students and parents agree.
