John Seiberling remembered

Monday, August 4, 2008

Eight-term Akron Congressman John Seiberling is remembered as a relentless advocate for peace and the environment. Seiberling died of respiratory failure Saturday at age 89. From his efforts to create the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to writing impeachment articles against President Nixon, Seiberling was at the forefront of the issues and events that shaped Northeast Ohio and the nation for decades.

WKSU's Amanda Rabinowitz reports:

Seiberling addresses U of A students May 6, 1970... 2 days after KSU shootings
