General Motors to cut 1,000 jobs in Moraine
GM says drop in truck sales forces elimination of second shift
Tuesday, July 29, 2008

General Motors says it will cut shifts at plants in southwest Ohio and Louisiana, eliminating more than 17 hundred jobs. At the company's Moraine, Ohio plant GM says it will eliminate the second shift and lay off about half of the plant's 2 thousand workers.
