Ohio residents could get chance to vote on casino
Wednesday, July 16, 2008
In November, Ohio voters may get a chance to vote on whether to authorize a 600-million dollar gambling casino complex near Wilmington.
That's about halfway between Columbus and Cincinnati.
Casino backers are now wrapping up a well-financed drive to collect enough petition signatures to put the proposed constitutional amendment onto the ballot.

From a direct business point of view, Ohio needs:
jobs
tax revenue
entertainment
shot in the arm for our economy
This casino is a destination site and it would be nice to see our dollars stay in Ohio instead of leaving the state to casinos that surround out state. Ohio needs to reverse the trend that we have suffered with for the last 20 years.
