Akron gets wireless corridor, headquarters new digital think tank

Akron is racing ahead on the information superhighway. The city is about to become headquarters to a multi-million dollar national think tank to help communities extend high-speed Internet to more people. Akron also will create a free wireless Internet corridor downtown. Both projects spring from major grants announced today by the Knight Foundation.
