Cuyahoga County opens second round of bids for Ameritrust Building Wednesday, April 2, 2008
A Northeast Ohio development firm hopes its latest bid for downtown Cleveland's Ameritrust building is accepted by Cuyahoga County. Today the county, which owns the historic building complex, opened bids for the second time this year. And just like last January's bidding, the K and D Group of Willoughby is the only company offering the $35-million the county is asking for. K-and-D hopes to turn the vacant site into a major hotel, office, retail and residential complex.
