Bliss Institute's Buckeye poll takes long view of what shapes Ohioans
Year-long survey will show evolution of voters in election year
Wednesday, March 12, 2008
In the days leading up to the Democratic primary election, Ohioans were inundated by polls trying to measure who would win. But a University of Akron poll was in the field before, during and after the election. And its goal was to measure what matters to Ohioans throughout this election year. The first wave of the poll shows one issue eclipses all others: the economy.
(More on Ohioans' view of the economy, Iraq, race, job creation and healthcare will appear here and on Morniing Edition over the next week.)
