Akron surgeon treats children as part of Kent-based Palestine Children's Relief Fund Friday, January 11, 2008
An Akron plastic surgeon has traveled three times to Palestine to perform free surgeries on children with no access to medical care. Dr. Michael Parker risks his life doing it for The Palestine Children's Relief Fund. The group that was founded in Northeast Ohio 17 years ago mobilizes doctors from around the country to the Middle East.
