Ohio Auto Parts Suppliers Face Uncertain Future

Wednesday, September 26, 2007

A family-run Northeast Ohio parts supplier for General Motors says this week's brief strike sheds light on a much bigger problem with the auto industry " and on why his company is struggling. Allied-Baltic Rubber in Tuscarawas County does most of its business with GM, and business hasn't been good, particularly for the last three years.

Listener Comments:

Amanda,
Well done.
I've known Al for maybe 25 years and have watched his GM-related struggles for most of that.
That will probably never change....at least for the company. For Al it will, though.
