Cuyahoga County Commissioners Vote on Income Tax Hike

Cuyahoga County Commissioners today voted two-to-one to raise the county income tax by a quarter-percent to pay for a new convention center and sales showroom for medical devices. Developer Chris Kennedy says that makes the Medical Mart a done deal. But two Cleveland city councilman and others unhappy with the tax hike process say they're starting a petition drive to force a voter referendum.
