Akron Parties for Young Professionals

Thursday, May 19, 2005

Communities around the nation, and the world, are vying to attract young professionals, and Northeast Ohio cities want to stay in the competition. Cleveland is considering a development plan to remake the Flats so its more suitable for a downtown neighborhood. In Akron, the business community has given some money, and some leadership positions, to a group of young professionals, in hopes of generating buzz about their city.
