In The Region: Reporters and TV crews from across the country and the world have descended on downtown Columbus today (Tuesday) because that’s where the votes will be tabulated in this crucial battleground state. Gregg Dodd is a spokesman for the statehouse where elections officials have set up a special election information center. He talked with statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen. |
While elections officials will be releasing vote total updates after the polls close at 7:30 tonight backers of President Obama and backers of challenger Mitt Romney will be gathering nearby at two downtown hotels. |
