Friday, July 27, 2012 President Obama to visit Ohio for third time in less than a month Both President Obama and Mitt Romney have been giving Ohio much attention during their campaigns by WKSU's STATEHOUSE CORRESPONDENT JO INGLES This story is part of a special series.

| President Obama will be in Ohio again next week (week starting Monday July 30th). This will be his third visit in less than a month. Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles reports. |
If there’s any doubt that Ohio is a battleground state, just look at the attention it is getting from President Barack Obama and his challenger Republican Mitt Romney. President Obama will travel to Mansfield and Akron Wednesday. His visit comes on the heels of his wife’s visit to Columbus and Dayton a few days ago and Vice President Joe Biden’s visits to Ohio a couple of weeks ago. Republican Romney was in Northwest Ohio a couple of weeks ago. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal was here in recent days on his behalf too. And Republican U.S. Representative Rob Portman, who is in the running to be Romney’s vice presidential candidate, has been campaigning for Romney in recent days too. |
